10 Years

As of today, PIRN has now been on the air for 10 years. In terms of both the Pokémon franchise and Internet Radio, this is an eternity. In 2000, we were looking forward to the second generation, not the fifth, and CDs were as digital as distribution got.

As the franchise has evolved, so has the station. It's gone from AM-quality to CD-quality audio, and added numerous programming blocks to the weekly schedule. There's also been dozens of interviews and tons of event coverage along the way. It's even helped get more Pokémon music out there for people to listen to.

Some of you were probably hoping for me to do some sort of massive retrospective on the station. Since I don't really have the time to do such a thing, I will ask that instead that you simply listen to the station, which in many ways is a retrospective of the entire Pokémon franchise.
