People with an iPhone can now annoy the crud out of their friends by using music from several Koch Records CDs as ringtones:

Pokemon Christmas Bash and Pokemon 3 have been added to the Amazon MP3 store. Unfortunately, many of the tracks from Pokemon Christmas Bash are misidentified and Pokemon 3 is missing the karaoke tracks (though they are available on the Totally Pokemon album).

Recently, Representative Jay Inslee (D-WA) introduced House Resolution 2060: The Internet Radio Equality Act. This act, if passed, would remedy the situation caused by the March 2nd CRB ruling and allow thousands of Internet radio stations (including PIRN) to remain on the air. It is imperative that you contact your representative and let them know that you want this bill passed as soon as possible.

Strings version of "Flying Without Wings" added to PIRN

I've added a strings version of "Flying Without Wings" to the station. It's availible on iTunes and is performed by the Vitamin String Quartet on their "Idol Worship" album released today (the song is based on the Reuben Studdard version, which is basically the same as the Westlife version from Pokémon the Movie 2000). You can hear it starting today, and I encourage you all to buy it when you get a chance.

"Are you still there?" In other words....

Don't leave your computer listening to PIRN unattended. Doing so wastes bandwidth and incurrs uneccesary royalty charges (sorry to be so blunt about it). As a result of new royalty rates, Live365 will periodically ask you to verify that you really are at your computer listening to stations, so make sure to pay attention while listening.

There are 4 new songs theis week from the 9th Pokemon Movie (known here as Pokemon Ranger and the Temple of the Sea):

The score of the US version should be the same as the Japanese version (this has been the case since Pokemon 4Ever).
