Users of the iPhone now have yet another option to irritate others with-The score from the second Pokemon movie has been added to the list of ringtonable albums on iTunes.

People with an iPhone can now annoy the crud out of their friends by using music from several Koch Records CDs as ringtones:

Pokemon Christmas Bash and Pokemon 3 have been added to the Amazon MP3 store. Unfortunately, many of the tracks from Pokemon Christmas Bash are misidentified and Pokemon 3 is missing the karaoke tracks (though they are available on the Totally Pokemon album).

It's that time of year again...

Now that we're past Thanksgiving, that can only mean one thing-Christmas music is back on PIRN!

PIRN has now been on the air for over 7 years! I'd like to thank all the dedicated listeners out there that have made it possible.

GameStop interview now on station

I went to a GameStop tournament last weekend and interviewed someone there. The interview is now in the station rotation.

PIRN isn't going anywhere just yet. We're still broadcasting for the time being. Still, you need to keep pressure on congress (see the link in the upper left).

Day of silence-today

Just a reminder that today is the day of silence for Live365. Regular PIRN programming has been replaced by information regarding the state of internet radio. Regular programming returns tomorrow.

I've added a newly-released dance version of the original Pokemon Theme to PIRN. The song is available on the iTunes music store on the "Cartoon Dance CD4" album.

Support HR2060: The Internet Radio Equality Act

Recently, Representative Jay Inslee (D-WA) introduced House Resolution 2060: The Internet Radio Equality Act. This act, if passed, would remedy the situation caused by the March 2nd CRB ruling and allow thousands of Internet radio stations (including PIRN) to remain on the air. It is imperative that you contact your representative and let them know that you want this bill passed as soon as possible.

Strings version of "Flying Without Wings" added to PIRN

I've added a strings version of "Flying Without Wings" to the station. It's availible on iTunes and is performed by the Vitamin String Quartet on their "Idol Worship" album released today (the song is based on the Reuben Studdard version, which is basically the same as the Westlife version from Pokémon the Movie 2000). You can hear it starting today, and I encourage you all to buy it when you get a chance.

I added info regarding what tracks are availible on the US Zune and Rhapsody stores to the music page. I also noted what songs are availible on non-Pokemon albums.

Pokemon X CD comes out today!

Unfortunately, I was unable to find any copies at the 6 stores I looked at this morning, so you may want to order it online if you haven't already.

"Are you still there?" In other words....

Don't leave your computer listening to PIRN unattended. Doing so wastes bandwidth and incurrs uneccesary royalty charges (sorry to be so blunt about it). As a result of new royalty rates, Live365 will periodically ask you to verify that you really are at your computer listening to stations, so make sure to pay attention while listening.

Jazz version of "The Power of One" added to station

A jazz version of "The Power of One" (originally by Donna Summer on the Pokemon: The Movie 2000 soundtrack) has been added to the station. The jazz version is performed by Richel Kompst and is available on the iTunes store on her album "Then Sings My Soul".

The score of the US version should be the same as the Japanese version (this has been the case since Pokemon 4Ever).
