New Music for week of 5/28/2007

There's two new songs this week from Pokemon X:

-Believe In Me
-I Want To Be A Hero

Find Pokemon X near you!

After learning that Best Buy's online store db is less than perfectly accurate, I'd suggesnt you use Koch Distribution's web site to look for a store that might have a copy of Pokemon X:

Dance version of Pokemon Theme added to the station

I've added a newly-released dance version of the original Pokemon Theme to PIRN. The song is available on the iTunes music store on the "Cartoon Dance CD4" album.

Internet Radio Equality Act introduced in US Senate

The Internet Radio Equality Act has been introduced into the Senate. You can read more here:

Support HR2060: The Internet Radio Equality Act

Recently, Representative Jay Inslee (D-WA) introduced House Resolution 2060: The Internet Radio Equality Act. This act, if passed, would remedy the situation caused by the March 2nd CRB ruling and allow thousands of Internet radio stations (including PIRN) to remain on the air. It is imperative that you contact your representative and let them know that you want this bill passed as soon as possible.

Strings version of "Flying Without Wings" added to PIRN

I've added a strings version of "Flying Without Wings" to the station. It's availible on iTunes and is performed by the Vitamin String Quartet on their "Idol Worship" album released today (the song is based on the Reuben Studdard version, which is basically the same as the Westlife version from Pokémon the Movie 2000). You can hear it starting today, and I encourage you all to buy it when you get a chance.

Info added to music page for Zune and Rhapsody

I added info regarding what tracks are availible on the US Zune and Rhapsody stores to the music page. I also noted what songs are availible on non-Pokemon albums.

IL states 2007 coverage

I've added an interview from the 2007 Pokemon TCG IL state championship from last month. Happy listening!
